The IDDC General Assembly 2018 will take place in Birmingham, United Kingdom from Wednesday 30 May until Friday 1 June 2018.
This year the workshop sessions will form part of the wider programme of the Inclusion International (II) World Congress which is being held at the same time. The
The two concurrent sessions that IDDC will co-organise are:
- 14:30-17:00 on Thursday 31 May - Opportunities offered by the sustainable development goals: The 2030 Agenda for sustainable development is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity. Examine what this plan offers to people with intellectual disabilities and their families, and explore how we make the most of the opportunities it presents.
- 09:00-10:30 on Friday 1 June - Achieving change through working in partnership: Achieving effective and sustainable change needs partners. Examine how to build good partnerships and what makes them successful.
