The Senior Inclusion Specialist will provide technical, subject matter expertise to HQ and country office teams on social inclusion. Under the supervision of the Senior Global Inclusion Advisor in the Center for Applied Research and Learning, the Senior Inclusion Specialist will provide technical assistance to regional program teams to ensure inclusion of all people in IFES’ democracy and governance work, with a focus on persons with disabilities and Indigenous Peoples. The Senior Inclusion Specialist will coordinate and collaborate with other colleagues on the Inclusion Team who focus on gender equality, LGBTQI+ rights, and youth engagement to ensure an intersectional approach is brought to programming. In addition to providing technical assistance on country-specific and regional initiatives, the Senior Inclusion Specialist will also develop and support development of global tools, resources and publications. The Senior Inclusion Specialist will be expected to play a leadership role for IFES in the area of social inclusion.
