The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its Implementation:

The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) is the first human rights treaty to include a stand-alone provision on international cooperation. Articles 11 and 32 reflect the importance of disability as human rights as well as a development issue, and the requirement of international cooperation for the successful implementation of the CRPD.
